The course · Code Quest: Robot Rescue
Four units. One rescue.
Unit 1 · Sequences
Sunrise Island
Commands & Sequences
Meet Pixel and learn how a program is a list of steps. Move, turn, collect gems, fix bugs and cross lava to rescue Beep-Bop.
Unit 2 · Loops
Loop Lagoon
Say it once and let Pixel do it again and again. Learn repeat loops, loops inside loops and loops that stop at the goal to rescue Zippy.
Unit 3 · Conditionals
Fork Forest
Conditionals & Events
In Fork Forest, Pixel learns to look before it steps. Use if and else to make choices, spot gems, open doors with switches, and steer with the arrow keys.
Unit 4 · Functions
Build Mountain
Variables, Functions & Final Project
On Build Mountain, Pixel learns to keep score with variables and to make its own blocks with functions. Then you design, build and share your very own mini-game.

What age is KidsCoding for?
Children aged 7 to 12. Lessons are written for a reading age of 7, and puzzles get harder as your child moves through the four units.
Does my child need to know how to type or read well?
No typing is needed. Kids tap and drag blocks. Instructions are short sentences, and Pixel shows each idea with a picture before asking your child to try it.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days with every lesson unlocked. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you keep going, it is 99 AED a month and you can cancel any time from your parent dashboard.
What device do we need?
A tablet, laptop or desktop with an up-to-date web browser. There is nothing to install. A bigger screen than a phone works best for dragging blocks.
Is it real coding?
Yes. Every block is a real programming idea: sequences, loops, conditionals, functions and events. Parents can see the same program written in Python.
